Shipping Policy for Dundalk Leisurecraft Products

This policy outlines the shipping procedures specifically for Dundalk Leisurecraft items ordered through Adored Collection.

Shipping Costs & Fees:

• Standard Shipping: Included in the product price for delivery within the continental USA.
• Address Change After Shipment: A $250 fee applies if you change the delivery address after your order has shipped from Dundalk's factory. Please confirm your address at checkout.
• Storage Fees: If the delivery is delayed because the shipping carrier cannot schedule the appointment with you promptly, you may be responsible for storage fees they impose.

Delivery Process (Freight Shipping):

• Dundalk items ship via freight carrier (large trucks, often 18-wheelers).
• Delivery Location: Delivery is curbside or to the end of your driveway. The carrier will not enter your driveway. Please ensure the truck can access your street/neighborhood.
• Scheduling Delivery: The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Timely responses are crucial to avoid delays and potential fees.

Unloading Your Order (IMPORTANT - Customer Responsibility):

• It is your responsibility to unload the shipping crate from the truck. Dundalk Leisurecraft crates are heavy (800-1600 lbs) and long (6-14 ft).
• Liftgate Availability:
  • Crates 92" (7 feet) or shorter: A liftgate might be available to help lower the crate.
  • Crates longer than 92" (most saunas): No liftgate service is available.
• Required Unloading Methods (for crates > 92"): You must arrange one of the following:
  • Use a forklift or similar equipment (ensure you have fork extensions and lift from the ends of the crate).
  • Rent a tilt tow truck to retrieve the crate from the delivery terminal.
  • Use a suitable trailer to pick up the crate from the delivery terminal yourself.
• Optional Unloading Service: Adored Collection can request a tilt tow truck delivery service from Dundalk on your behalf for a $750 fee. Please contact us if you need this service.

Order Changes & Cancellations (Before Shipment):

• Changes:
  • Free for the first 14 days after ordering.
  • $65 fee applies for changes made after 14 days.
  • Canadian Timber Collection Exception: Changes ($65 fee) only allowed within the first 24 hours.
  • No changes possible within 7 days of the scheduled ship date.
• Cancellations:
  • Free for the first 14 days after ordering.
  • $65 fee applies for cancellations made after 14 days.
  • Canadian Timber Collection Exception: Cancellations ($65 fee) only allowed within the first 24 hours.
  • Orders cannot be canceled within 7 days of the scheduled ship date.

• General Rule: Due to the significant cost and logistics of returning large items internationally, Dundalk Leisurecraft's official policy is they do not accept returns. Please be certain of your order before purchasing.
• Exceptions (Very Rare): In the unlikely event a return to the factory is deemed necessary and approved by Dundalk Leisurecraft:
  • A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • You (the customer) are responsible for paying all return shipping costs back to the Dundalk factory.
  • The product must be returned in its original, unopened packaging and in perfect condition.
  • Dundalk Leisurecraft will inspect the returned item and has the sole authority to determine its condition and the final refund amount.
• Refused Deliveries: If you refuse the delivery of your order without prior authorization for a return:
  • A 15% restocking fee will apply.
  • You will be responsible for all original and return shipping costs, plus any rerouting fees.

Damaged Items During Shipping:

• Inspect Upon Arrival: Carefully examine the shipping crate when it arrives, ideally while the driver is present.
• Document Any Damage: If you notice any damage to the crate (dents, tears, broken wood), clearly note this on the driver's delivery receipt (Bill of Lading - BOL) before you sign. Use phrases like "Crate received damaged" or "Possible hidden damage." This is crucial for filing a claim.
• Take Photos: Get clear pictures of the damaged packaging (including the shipping label) and any damage to the product itself if visible.
• Report Within 24 Hours: Send the photos and a description of the damage to Adored Collection at support@adoredcollection.com within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. Prompt reporting is essential for freight insurance claims.
